Paraguay, Paris

Paraguay est une coopérative éditoriale qui se consacre à étendre le vocabulaire de l’art contemporain à travers un programme de publications (livres d’artistes et catalogues, essais, entretiens, fictions) et d’événements liés à l’économie, à la socialité et à l’écologie du livre. La maison d’édition, originellement associée au project space castillo/corrales (2007-2015), puis à DOC! (2016-2023), est aujourd’hui installée au sein la Cité Internationale des Arts, dans le 4ème arrondissement de Paris. Les activités de Paraguay sont conçues et produites par un groupe de critiques, commissaires, graphistes et artistes, parmi lesquels Thomas Boutoux, Laure Giletti, François Piron, Lucas Roussel et Roman Seban.

Originally the imprint of the Paris-based project space castillo/corrales (2007-2015), Paraguay is a cooperative publishing house devoted to developing a new vocabulary of words and actions through a program of publications (comprising artists books and catalogues, essays, long form interviews, and contemporary fiction), talks, and workshops. The offices of Paraguay are currently located within the Cité Internationale des Arts in 4th arrondissement, and its activities are overseen by a group of artists, writers, graphic designers, and curators including Thomas Boutoux, Laure Giletti, François Piron, Lucas Roussel and Roman Seban.
